We, the Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand, Indiana, are monastic women seeking God through the Benedictine tradition of community life, prayer, hospitality, and service to others. By our life and work, we commit ourselves to be a presence of peace as we join our sisters and brothers in the common search for God.

Way of the Cross
On the afternoon of March 31, a group of Hispanic teenagers presented a live enactment of the Way of the Cross on our monastery grounds. The enactment of scenes of Christ's sufferings and death is a tradition in many Latin American countries. It is one of the customs that the Guadalupe Center in Huntingburg encourages Hispanics to continue in the United States. The teens who did the enactment are participants in faith formation classes at the Guadalupe Center. Many Hispanic families from the area and some of our sisters attended this event.
